At approximately 7:15 pm EST on 1/4/2012, while I waited by my front door for a 3rd delivery attempt, a UPS driver made a delivery across the street from me, got back into the UPS truck and bypassed my residence without making a delivery attempt. Later the driver FALSELY entered an exception into his handheld device (?) stating that I was not available to receive the package.
~ Perhaps this happened because it was past 7 pm and the driver was tired and/or had something else to do.
~ Perhaps this happened because it was around 25 degrees that evening.

I called customer service and the agent sent a message to the customer center (?). Later, UPS left a message on my phone stating there would be no re-delivery attempt because there had already been 3 tries.

Fortunately for me the package contained IRS publications that can easily be reordered at no additional charge. But it could have contained some other time-sensitive material.

If the driver had to suspend deliveries for the day, or was simply running late, it seems that my package could have remained on the truck until the next deliver day.

BrowseAndShop.net and BetTheWeb.net are now using TwitterFeed.com to automatically post RSS feeds to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

BrowseAndShop & BetTheWeb are Newbies to social networking, so I cannot give you a lot of technical information. But I can say that TwitterFeed works well, and authorizing Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, to accept the TwitterFeed was extremely easy.
